Floor squeaks can be a nuisance and are sometimes difficult to resolve as they can be the result of various circumstances. A floor squeak was identified during the pictured
bathroom remodel, and in this case, was the result of movement at the joist hanger and sub-floor nails that missed the joist. A few nails and a layer of construction adhesive were applied to the hanger and at the gap. Both will prevent movement in the floor which will silence the squeak. Problem solved!
